Rolling Springs is a mixed age group (with 18 families) that has been a Family Campers and Rv’ers chapter since 2002. More than half of our group is retired and at the present time we only have one child (10 years) in our chapter. This chapter is probably not an ideal fit for teenagers unless there are several joining. We camp on week-ends only, but some of our group do travel to the Statewide, Retiree and National events.
We camp primarily with full hookups and camp from April through October. During the winter months we meet for dinner and a meeting at a restaurant. We participate in the CAMP program, have potlucks, and play games (both inside and out). If there is an activity or a place of interest near the campground, many in the chapter participate in that.
Our dues are $10 per couple per year or $5 per single per year.
At this time we are not looking to add to our group through the RV shows. In recent years our members have been bringing in friends and relatives to join the Rolling Springs
