Road Runners – Adults Only

The Roadrunner chapter is an adult age group with a combination of retirees and people who are still working.  Adult children and grandkids are welcome as guests, occasionally.  Our group consists of all types of RVs–have had tents, as well.  We welcome and love new members!

Our chapter meets each month throughout the year and camps April through October, typically with full hook-ups or as a minimum with electric hook-ups.  As a group, we enjoy friendship and exploring sites/activities near where we camp. On a typical camping weekend, we go out to eat on Friday evening, play outdoor games (and some card games) or sightsee during the day on Saturday, and have a potluck on Saturday night, followed by our campfire tales.  Our outdoor games include games like beanbag baseball, bolo horseshoes, cornhole, or cross-country croquet, but we’re always up for the challenge of learning a new game!

In the off season, we enjoy tours, dinner theater, luncheons, or dinners.  Also, the Roadrunners prepare and serve a meal at the Ronald McDonald House, annually.  Our favorite winter gatherings are our Thanksgiving and Holiday dinners where we gather in someone’s home or in a favorite restaurant.   The Roadrunner chapter is a camping family that enjoys being together and cherishes our friendships!
